Mackline managed to escape Rwanda during the genoc Mackline managed to escape Rwanda during the genocide in 1994 after her parents were killed and has severe burn damage on her face. After entering Uganda, Mackline was abused and found herself pregnant and homeless with no family when her baby Rovina was born. Continue reading about Mackline by clicking more!

A kind village lady took pity and invited Mackline and Rovina to live with her. Mackline was like a daughter to her until she died last year. This lady's children then threw them out of their mother's home since she was not a blood relative.
•••
Mackline got a job in the community nearby. When COVID-19 hit and people started losing their sources of income, her employer let her go. A friend invited her to stay and help with home chores for a little wage. It has not been enough to provide food for Mackline and Rovina.
 •••
MCM feels so blessed to be able to make a difference in Mackline and Rovina’s lives. They are among the villagers being fed during COVID-19 and will survive on this food for close to a month. At this time, it is our prayer Uganda opens up and the crops in the fields, which are harvested, can be brought to the market.
•••
We thank our partners in the U.S. for making this possible for the lives of Mackline and a host of other adults and children.
Judith and Gift are different from other children Judith and Gift are different from other children as they always come cheerfully to help plant, weed, prune, and harvest MCM crops for free! We are so blessed to have these two, each with a servant’s heart as part of the MCM family. Click more to read how Gift and Judith became part of the MCM family.
•••
Gift and Judith are sisters. Their father became an alcoholic and quit all the responsibilities and roles a father plays in an African family. Their mother developed medical complications while the sisters were young. Not long after that, she could not go to the farms and dig to grow food
for the family. So Judith and Gift took up the role of provider for their mother and two more young siblings behind them.
•••
When not at school, Judith and Gift are always in the farmland digging and cultivating for other people so they make some money to buy the nonfood items they have. We thank God MCM can help out with their needs for education, medical care, food, clothing and school supplies. Thank you for helping us make this possible!
